Meet The Team

Amy Voelkerding

Office Manager

Amy started out as a caregiver and has been helping the elderly and disabled her entire life.  She ran assisted living homes and ensured patients' safety and health for many years.  In addition, she managed and mentored many caregivers and performed various administrative duties. Amy joined WellHome in 2010 and has since devoted herself to navigating regulations, internal policies, and communications with various entities to advocate on behalf of our clients.

Kathy Sherwood

Director of Nursing

Kathy has been a Registered Nurse for over 40 years. She is a wife and has three adult children. Kathy is also a board certified holistic nurse, as well as a life coach and Healing Touch Practitioner.  Her career has taken her from operating rooms and surgery centers to Home Health, Parish Nursing, and Mental Health. Kathy started with WellHome in 2018 to use her well-rounded background to assist us in our mission of ensuring the well-being of all people in need.

Ebony Tate

Staffing Coordinator

Ebony has been a Certified Nursing Assistant for over 16 years and joined WellHome in 2018. She loves making a difference in people's lives and building relationships. She started staffing because she saw a need for someone who was great judge of character and could leverage her relationships to bring everyone together to achieve the best possible outcome for clients. Ebony enjoys making living spaces neat and decorating in her free time.

Christine Bleitz

Community Liaison

Christine is a graduate of the University of Missouri and resides in St. Louis with her family.  Christine has spent over 20 years in the medical field educating physicians, pharmacists, medical personnel and patients about the critical changes occurring in the pharmaceutical industry that had the potential to impact patients' health. She joined WellHome in 2019 to continue educating patients and families about what services are available to them and help guide clients to receive the benefits and care they need.

Marsha Williams

Community Liaison

Marsha is a graduate of the University of Missouri and resides in St. Louis County. She joined WellHome in 2019 after 19 years in the counseling, education, and law enforcement fields. As a Community Liaison, Marsha’s role with WellHome is to build community relationships and gain resources and referrals for clients needing services from places such as living and nursing facilities, hospitals, rehabilitation and memory care communities, senior centers, adult day cares.

Paulina Adelman

President

Paulina was a teacher for 18 years before  immigrating to the US in the 80's.  She then became a caregiver.  When her parents developed health issues and needed additional care, she looked for a company with an exceptional level of service, but one proved difficult to find.  Together with her children, she started Excel Home Care Inc., now WellHome.  Her vision was to create a company that was both affordable and absolutely committed to her clients so that she could help others take care of their loved ones the way she took care of hers.

Ilya Edeydlman

Executive Director

With over 18 years experience in the home care industry, Ilya has been at the helm of WellHome since 2004.  He has led the company through rapid growth and expansion while maintaining the highest level of service for its clients.  Ilya holds a bachelor’s degree form Northwestern University and enjoys amateur woodworking and reading cheesy novels in his spare time.

Eugene Spektor

CEO

Eugene graduated from the University of Missouri in 2011 with a bachelor’s in Economics and a Master’s in Business Administration.  Eugene has an extensive background in providing Information Technology solutions to pharmacy and hospital organizations. He joined WellHome in 2017 and continues to follow his passion of improving the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare companies that take care of others.
